About Us

We are a nonprofit organization of high school students located in California, USA, and we empower individuals in underdeveloped countries by offering accessible, high-quality, free language education.

Our mission has two parts: 1) bring English education to underprivileged elementary-middle school students across the world and 2) inspire students in the U.S. to learn Spanish at a more profound level. Members choose to undertake certain roles, such as tutoring and tutee outreach. We provide one-on-one tutoring, group lessons and virtual discussions.

During club meetings, we meet bi-monthly to discuss progress and hold training sessions on how to provide English lessons in Spanish. We encourage any student with a fundamental knowledge of Spanish to join!

Ultimately, we strive to carry out our vision as best we can—to encourage global education—because education changes our lives and brings the best out of humanity. Hence, the name of our club: Language Education Advancement Program (LEAP).
